Discover How God Has Wired You
Three Free Assessments from Red Letters Ministries
At Red Letters Ministries, we believe every believer has been “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) — uniquely gifted, distinctly wired, and intentionally designed for Kingdom purpose. To help you understand how God has shaped you, we are offering three free, faith-based assessments on our website. Each one explores a different dimension of who you are, and together they form a powerful picture of how God has equipped you to serve Him, lead others, and grow in Christlikeness.
Spiritual Gifts Assessment
The Spiritual Gifts Assessment is a Scripture-grounded inventory that identifies your strengths across twelve biblical gifts: Discernment, Exhortation, Evangelism, Faith, Giving, Guidance, Help/Serving, Knowledge, Leadership, Mercy, Teaching, and Wisdom. First Peter 4:10 reminds us, “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” This 48-question assessment takes 8–10 minutes and produces a personalized PDF report identifying your top gifts, the Scripture passages that describe each one, suggested ministry opportunities, and prayer points for growth.
This assessment is for any believer who wants to move from sitting in the pew to serving with purpose. New Christians can use it as a starting point for discovering how God has equipped them. Long-time believers often discover gifts they have been operating in unknowingly — or gain confirmation of where the Spirit is calling them next. Church leaders find it especially valuable for placing volunteers, building teams, and helping members find their fit in the body of Christ.
The benefit is clarity. When you know your gifts, you stop comparing yourself to others and start serving from a place of joy and effectiveness. You begin to see your role in God’s redemptive work — and the local church becomes stronger because every part is doing its share (Ephesians 4:16).

DISC Personality Assessment
The DISC Personality Assessment measures four core behavioral styles — Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness — to reveal how you naturally communicate, lead, handle conflict, and engage with others. Unlike a pass-or-fail test, DISC simply describes how God has wired your temperament. Scripture is filled with examples of each style: Paul’s bold “D,” Peter’s expressive “I,” Barnabas’s steady “S,” and Luke’s careful “C.” Our version of the DISC includes biblical references and faith-based applications throughout the report.
This assessment is for anyone navigating relationships, leadership, marriage, parenting, or workplace dynamics. It is especially helpful for couples who want to understand each other better, leaders building teams, small groups seeking healthier communication, and individuals working through conflict patterns or career direction.
The benefits are practical and immediate. You will understand your communication style, your strengths under pressure, your blind spots, and how to relate better to people wired differently than you. Most relational tension in churches and homes is not theological — it is personality-driven. DISC gives you the language and self-awareness to bridge those gaps with grace.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessment
The Emotional Intelligence Assessment measures your ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions — both your own and others’. Built on the framework introduced by psychologists Peter Salovey and John Mayer (1990) and popularized by Daniel Goleman, this assessment evaluates the five domains of EQ: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Motivation, Empathy, and Social Skills. Through 40 questions, it produces a 0–100 EQ Index along with a personalized PDF report.
The report includes a full explanation of what EQ is and where it came from, your overall score with a breakdown of how it was calculated, the positive aspects of your emotional profile, blind spots or growth concerns surfaced by your answers, and — most importantly — a custom action plan tailored to your specific results. Throughout, biblical wisdom anchors the assessment: Proverbs 4:23, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life,” and the example of Christ, who wept (John 11:35), expressed righteous anger (John 2:13–16), and modeled perfect emotional health.
This assessment is for leaders, pastors, parents, spouses, counselors, and anyone who wants to grow in maturity and Christlike character. Research consistently shows that people with higher EQ lead more effectively, build healthier relationships, navigate conflict with grace, and manage stress with composure.
The benefit is transformation. EQ is not a fixed trait — it is a developmental baseline. Once you see where you are, you can grow. And as believers, our growth in emotional health is inseparable from our growth in spiritual maturity.
